Nothing is Perfect
As useful Slack is, nothing is perfect. One of the downfalls of Slack is the minimum file storage. When files are sent through Slack versus email, it can become frustrating because a user only gets as much storage as you choose to pay for. Because of this, Slack slowly deletes files over time which could be inconvenient if these are still needed for use. Also slack can become a distraction if one is not careful with multiple channels of conversation available. One can become distracted with the fun ways to converse with coworkers with pictures, GIFs, and videos.

This shows how our human action altered a function of technology to make best use of this communication. It expands the one-on-one direct messaging to multiple channels of communication between many shared users. As our human action expands this use of communication, this expansion has allowed for great implementation into many professional lives and use. It has expanded the intimate collaboration many jobs require between its members through many tools of sharing ideas and even screens. We have alter this technology which in turn has altered our communication.
